Description

After a pause from our coffee lineup, we are bringing back a Plowshares fan favorite representing all that is good about Colombian coffee, specifically coffee from the Huila region, Quebradón is a group of producers who own farms (the average size is about 3 hectares), surrounding the town of Palestina in the south of Huila. For over a decade, our partner importers, Caravela, has been working with the Quebradón group to improve quality and provide education on farm management.

All this leads to a delicious cup of coffee which definitely falls into the comfort category. Fresh off the grind you’ll find rich milk chocolate aromatics. In the cup the chocolate persists and is joined by a lovely peach note and caramel sweetness. Like your favorite sweater, this lovely coffee will help you get through the latter half of winter.

Quebradon, made up several smallholder farms in the breathtaking Palestine, Huila region of Colombia offers a cup redolent with peach, caramel sweetness. This coffee performs well in all methods of filter brewing. Caturra, Tabi and Bourbon varietals make up this small community lot.
