Demicha Village Smallholders

Description

Demicha is a village located in the Harsu Haro Muda Kebele. Demicha means honey. The nearest town to this village is Harsu. Similar to the neighboring village of Muda Tatesa, coffee cultivation is new here. The farmers of this village also produce legumes, oats, and barley, but have also introduced maize and intercrop false banana with the newly planted coffee. Due to the village’s high altitude and favorable climate, it is an area promising for coffee production.
