Here we have another washed Gesha nanolot from Janson Coffee Farm in Chiriqui, Panama. Located between 1300-1700MASL on the mountain sides of 2 different volcanoes, Janson Coffee strives to maintain a natural balance and harmony between agriculture and nature. All operations on the farm are solar powered, no pesticides or herbicides are used during cultivation, and the soil health is carefully managed with natural enzymes from microorganisms. In the cup we find a delightfully layered experience of green tea and citrus, with some very well defined jasmine florals. An excellent example of the satirical phrase "good coffee is just tea" - this is just tea, and I love it.
