Established in 2014, Halo Beriti Washing Station serves over 750 local smallholder producers delivering cherry throughout the harvest season in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. This particular microlot, sourced through Cafe Imports, was specially prepared with multiple extra sorting steps in between cherry delivery and drying.
Cup notes:
The resulting cup profile is impeccably clean, with a beautifully sweet peach note and a lactic body, both coalescing to form a perfect little peach ice cream vibe. As the cup cools, a lovely Lemon Verbena aromatic shows up, accompanied by Gardenia and Bergamot florals.
