From the Aricha washing station in Yirgacheffe. Managed by Faysel Abdosh(you may recognize this name from our Duwancho drop) and Testi Coffee, Aricha was revived in 2018 after being purchased by Testi Coffee. After years of being in a state of disrepair, Testi Coffee purchased it, completely overhauled the operations, and gave a vital resource to the surrounding coffee growing communities, who previously had to travel very far distances to reach a washing station. Faysel is a strong believer in supporting and uplifting the farming communities he works with, collaborating with the local government to have electrical lines extended out to many local producer's homes. We sourced this coffee through our newest importing partner, Trabocca, who have been working within Ethiopia since 2004, and are dedicated to maintaining stable and traceable year over year purchasing relationships within Ethiopia and beyond it. In the cup we find classical clean blueberry tones, immediately accented by beautifully sweet lemon sorbet. As it cools, jasmine, bergamot, rose and cherry blossom slowly rise to the surface.
