After releasing both Layo Teraga Natural and Elto Natural, we realized we had yet to strike a true 0/5 on the funk scale with a naturally processed coffee. I'm happy to say that this one from Abrar Keno in Jimma, Ethiopia absolutely hits that mark and then some. A lovely classic clean natty, just layers upon layers of fresh fruit and citrus.
Cup notes:
The cup opens straight away into red grapes, with a lovely in-season fresh strawberry sweetness, and eventually cools into a stupid-sweet and aromatic Meyer lemon vibe. Loud and intense flavors that are indicative of its processing, but carefully managed processing here has resulted in a beautifully clean cup of coffee.
