Description

We found this coffee to be almost candy-like, with aromas of cherry, nougat, and Swiss chocolate. When sipped, we found notes of candied pecan, butterscotch, and papaya, with a dried mango acidity. The smooth finish reminds us of honeycomb and cashew.

“Sebastián Jiménez and his brothers, Jorge and Carlos, are a true example of family unity and shared purpose. As third-generation coffee producers, they inherited their passion for coffee from their grandfather and father. In 2005, they founded Finca Palermo, named in honor of their grandfather and their family’s legacy.

"In 2020, Finca Palermo caught the interest of Caravela, who began exporting their coffee at better prices and providing support through their Program of Education for Coffee Producers (PECA) technical assistance program. This program provides knowledge and support to improve farming and harvesting practices, increasing yields, improving quality, and preserving the environment. The brothers devote 25% of their 24-hectare farm to coffee.
