About the coffee:
Between his farm in Bombe and a smaller 5 hectare farm in Kokose, Bekele purchases cherry from more than 100 smallholders in the area, and uses meticulous processing methods to produce really incredible coffees. What we love about Bekele’s
coffees are the clean, sweet profiles. They’re vibrant, rounded and balanced, and tend to have a lingering, delicate fruited mouthfeel that’s unforgettable.
A natural processed fruit bomb from Sidama, this coffee is a great example of what high quality natural processing can produce. In recent years, Bekele invested in shading the entire natural processing area, which has led to more even drying and higher quality natural coffees. You’ll taste bursting blueberry notes, undertones of peach jam sweetness, and lingering florals on the back.
