Description

Amparo's coffee makes us feel nostalgic. It takes us back to a time when clean, washed Caturra lots were the norm in Colombian specialty coffee. It's refreshing to see a farmer still producing such mesmerising coffees that reflect the terroir they are grown in.

Amparo Moncayo and her husband Edmundo have been married for over 40 years. Both come from farming families and after they married, Amparo inherited the land they now farm on in Pasto, Nariño. They grow 100% Caturra, which is fertilised naturally using homemade recipes from guinea pig droppings.

This high-altitude Caturra lot is just as impressive in the cup, expect bright and juicy toffee apple & lemonade notes.
