Description
From the same innovative minds at La Joya, this Yellow Caturra Natural–Jade Imperial highlights how Samuel Ronzón and Gloria Hernández approach coffee as both farmers and scientists. Processed through a 144-hour fermentation and oxidation in GP bags, then dried over 20 days on African beds, this lot is carefully designed to balance intensity with elegance. In the cup, it’s expressive and layered, opening with a boozy depth before unfolding into the refined structure of black tea, lifted by the brightness of raspberry and lemon. Like all of La Joya’s coffees, it reflects their philosophy of pairing family heritage with scientific precision Gloria’s background in biotechnology informs every step, from fermentation to drying, while Samuel’s generational farming roots ensure connection to land and community. The result is a coffee that embodies Veracruz’s unique terroir while showcasing La Joya’s dedication to innovation, transparency, and sustainability at origin.
