Monteblanco’s Watermelon - Melon Washed is a radiant expression of Rodrigo Sanchez’s innovation in coffee processing. Crafted at Monteblanco and meticulously processed at Clearpath Coffee Mill, this Caturra Bourbon lot undergoes a groundbreaking fermentation with tropical fruit nectar primarily from the Citrullus family (watermelon, melon). This method amplifies the coffee’s natural sweetness, resulting in an electric flavor profile of starfruit, watermelon, nectarines, and Gushers. With a 190-hour fermentation, guided by cultivated lactobacillus and saccharomyces cerevisiae. Carefully dried over 15 days, its integrity is preserved, allowing the fruit-driven vibrancy to shine.
