Story: Gilberto Baraona is known throughout El Salvador and beyond for his meticulous processing and his obsessive attention to detail. He has placed in the Cup of Excellence on numerous occasions. This year we purchased his bourbon elite washed and his bourbon black honey process coffees which will be released over the upcoming month. They are beautiful representations of El Salvador coffee. Gilberto has also provided us with some beautifully prepared cascara (dried coffee cherry). This cascara has been expertly dried and vacuum sealed and delivered to us via air freight to be enjoyed as fresh as possible. The sweetness and complexity you'll find in this dried coffee cherry is second to none. This is cascara tea at its finest.
