Description

Story: We visited our friends KCCE/KENCAFE in Nairobi, Kenya earlier this year and cupped through mostly week 16 and 17 out turns. Woweeee! We had no idea what a treat we were in for. 3 of the lots we cupped that day were 90+ point beauties that we had to lock up on the spot. The first of these treasures is from a washing station called Kieni. It is a part of the larger society/coop called Mugaga, located at a nice high elevation in Nyeri County. Kieni growers have been known for their attention to detail in ripe cherry picking and super clean and crisp washing procedures. The perfect picking and processing creates a coffee that his complex, clean, highly fruited and sugary sweet. Kieni for the win!
