Description

Our first direct trade Colombian of the year is called El Cucho. Cucho literally translates to the "corner" or is slang for "the old man". We don't whether the name refers to Jairo and the long hours he works between his farm and his panela production or whether it refers to the fact that his farm is in the very corner of multiple other small farms on the side of a volcano. One thing we are sure of is that this coffee is a beautiful representation of high grown, beautifully prepped Colombian coffee and we are excited to make this our first release of eleven total direct trade Colombian lots.
