Produced by Sebastián Ramírez at El Placer in Quindío, Colombia, this Caturra is part of his highly expressive Red Fruits series. The coffee uses an experimental co-fermentation designed to develop concentrated red-fruit sweetness and aromatic intensity.
Expect a loud, candy-driven cup with notes of dark cherry soda, strawberry compote, and Red Tootsie Pop. Juicy, sweet, and immediately recognizable, this 5 lb whole-bean format is an excellent option for featured pour-over, rotating single-origin espresso, premium batch brew, or signature coffee beverages.
