Tulise Washing Station

The newest Rumba lot for 2026 has arrived and it's super delicious, sweet, fruity and it deserves a special box! Ethiopia is a special origin to us, we travel there every year and buy a very significant quantity to make sure we have multiple lots and that can last until the following harvest. Rumba this year is a dry anaerobic natural from Tulise Washing Station. This technique is the most straight forward, and doesn’t require the fermentation tank to be filled with clean water which is sometimes a logistical challenge in Ethiopia. After fermentation, the cherries are dried for around 23 days in a semi-shaded environment. The tasting notes are stewed strawberries, apricot and brown sugar and has a very syrupy texture.
