DETAILS:
Armando Leivas is a 4th generation coffee farmer from La Union Zacapa Guatemala in Nuevo Oriente. We partnered directly with Armando and his family to purchase this coffee, making this our first fully direct-trade offering. This washed coffee went through an 18-hour fermentation period before being fully sun dried. We love this coffee due to its rich dark chocolate notes, and dark creamy finish. Armando is a leader within his community, redistributing profits from his coffee into clean water initiatives, and building a school for local coffee farmers children to attend.
