For over 250 years, the Manila-Acapulco Galleon trade served as a vital link, fostering the exchange of goods, ideas, and people. From Mexico, we have selected beans grown in the highlands of Chiapas, known for their medium body, delicate acidity, and notes of chocolate and nutmeg. From the Philippines, we have chosen the rare Barako beans from the Southern Luzon region, prized for their full body, rich aroma, and notes of roasted nuts with hints of jackfruit finish. When combined, these beans create a harmonious blend that honors the heritage and traditions of both origins, resulting in a balanced and complex coffee.
